Does your insurance through work offer any hospice type care at all??? I would ask for a copy of the policy for both you guys and get to someone who can interpret the meanings behind all of the jargon. I am going to school for health insurance to be an agent and it is hard for me to understand! You have to go to the administrators and specifically require a copy of the policy if you belong to a group insurance policy through your work! Only the policy owner (the company) gets a copy!
